Gigantic 3D logos for Wacken Open Air

For the world-famous Wacken Open Air, we at Air Decor implemented a special highlight: several impressive 3D logos, each 11 meters wide and 5 meters high, including the unmistakable Wacken skull. These monumental structures were installed on 40-foot containers and served as striking entrances to the infield – the heart of the festival.

Around 84.000 visitors experienced this sight firsthand, took photos in front of the Holy Ground, and shared their enthusiasm. Our inflatables not only added visual interest but also created a new meeting point and photo spot for the festival community.

The structures are internally illuminated, made of robust 900D polyester, and perfectly designed for safety and durability by our engineers using structural calculations. The result is an impressive combination of design, function, and precision craftsmanship that showcases festival technology.

With this project, we demonstrated how large-format, customized solutions not only attract attention, but also create entire experiences – made by Air Decor.
